Social media “emoji reactions” have become a way of expressing your mood, excitement, and more with a quick, visual, non-verbal symbol. Emoji reactions provide instant, low-effort engagement, such as a “Like,” “Heart,” or “Laughing face” that clarifies the tone of communication and replaces the need for full text replies.

Since everyone uses emoji reactions during their day-to-day business meetings on Zoom and Teams, VXP Meeting built an AV ready solution for corporate live events. Now ALL attendees can instantly add their emoji reactions to the meeting! Both remote attendees and in-person attendees!

Corporate events have two audiences; in-person and remote. Both groups can participate and send their emoji reactions to the meeting screens!

• Remote attendees expand the REACTIONS section in the VXP meeting room and click an emoji any time to add their excitement to the event
• In-person attendees scan the event QR code and from their smartphone or tablet, they too can click an emoji any time to add their excitement to the event

Behind the Scenes:

• The VXP Team knows live events and built the VXP Emoji Reactions as an AV Ready solution
• If the meeting is all only remote attendees, nothing additional is needed, the Emoji Reactions are built into the VXP platform and display on all attendees screens
• If the meeting is only in-person attendees, the AV production team simply needs an onsite computer logged into the event Emoji Reaction webpage (secured with password access and unpublished URL), then run full screen (e.g. no browser interface visible). All attendee reactions are sent to this webpage, which has an alpha green background color. Key out the green and add the Emoji Reaction computer as an overlay source to the show and the attendee emoji reactions are on-screen in the ballroom!
• If the meeting is hybrid, with both in-person and remote attendees, there are a few decisions that direct the VXP platform configuration and the live stream, separately.
• All attendees have seamless access to send an emoji any time during the event.
